How to Play Craps

The exciting game of craps involves rolling a pair of dice. Learn the basics of the game so you can get started. If you're looking for some good resources for craps betting, you might want to take a look at the following site. Type 'craps betting' in the specified search engine. You'll be taken to the best place for players who are new to the craps. The system will allow you to make an easy bet.

The Table

The dice are rolled on the table to ensure a fair roll, but the table is also used for betting. Most of the table is the "layout," which is labeled sections for betting printed right on the table. Players place their bets in chips on the layout. The location of the layout determines the type of bet being played. Once the bets have been placed, the player rolls the dice. This means that many people can win big at craps.

The Pass Line

The simplest craps bet is the Pass Line Bet, which keeps you in line with most of the other players against the casino. To make the pass line bet, wait until 1 shooter is finished with the dice and the dice are passed to the left to a new shooter. Before the new shooter makes his roll, put down a wager on the pass line. If the roll comes out a 7 or 11, you win; if the roll is a 2, 3 or 12 you lose; if any other number is rolled then it is a "point." During a "point," the shooter gets the dice back and the round continues. You will want the shooter to re-roll the point. If the shooter succeeds, you win the pass line bet, but if a 7 is rolled, then you lose your bet and the round ends.

The above tips should help you get started in craps. These are just general rules, however, so study the game even more before placing big bets.
